Needles & Syringes
A hypodermic needle is a hollow needle commonly used with a syringe to inject substances unders the skin, into the body, or extract fluids from it. They are also used to take liquid from the body, such as in blood transfusion and venipuncture. Typical uses are: vaccination, blood administration & transfusion, fast delivery of liquids into the body.
An intradermal needle is a needle used for a shallow or superficial injection of a substance into the dermis. For certain substances, administration via an intradermal route can result in a faster systemic uptake. Additionally, since administration is closer to the surface of the skin, the body’s reaction to substances is more easily visible. Mesorelle® Intradermal Needles are mainly used for mesotherapy treatments for injection of hyaluronic acid and botox.
